Haji Lane a fun and quitky side of Singapore I enjoyed walking thru this quirky neighbourhood. Added to this many of the side streets are decorated with art murals etc. From it's quirky shops, restaurants, cafes to stunning street arts and different races of people from all over the world. Each neighborhood shows how each culture influences its architecture, food, handicrafts, heritage buildings, and more! I found out later that Haji Lane was actually a part of Kampong Glam. Multicolored murals succeed in making the old shop houses that look rather worn out become more alive. Lots of narrow streets, colourful murals, quirky shops and the stunning Sultan Mosque. The most typical murals of this region are images of warrior figures with ancient styles that are also wrapped with jewelry, such as the ones from Old Latin Americans. #PurposefulTraveling A not to be missed old charmed streets of Haji, Bussorah, Muscat and Kandaha.
