This year’s festival, presented by Cleveland Clinic Children’s, features more than 40 all-new, large-scale illuminated, multi-lantern creations by Chicago’s Tianyu Arts and Culture firm.
The zoo has several animals that you do not see at every zoo. Tickets are $30 until July 31 and then prices will increase.

The new displays also include a 30-foot-tall giant panda, interactive moon swings, tigers, temples made out of China plates, and Chinese pagodas.

Family was in Cleveland just for the Zoo for the day. Recommended experiences in and around Cleveland. Last weekend the Water Lantern Festival was in Columbus, Ohio downtown right along the banks of the Scioto River, a location I frequent a lot during the summer as many great festivals are held there (one of my favorites it Food Truck Fest!). The skies above Ohio are about to glow with more than just stars.

Don't miss this amazing event. This years’ experience will be more interactive than ever. If it happens enough where you have to post signs, maybe a restructuring of their environment needs to be considered?- Beer was surprisingly affordable at $8 for a 16oz IPA.- 22 month old had a blast but a stroller or wagon is 100% necessary.

Now called Dragon Lights Columbus – the celebration of Chinese Culture returns to the Ohio Expo Center from November 23, 2018 – January 6, 2019. It is a lot of walking but worth every step. It was the longest day of the year and I spent the evening at the terrific festival.

there are two areas of the zoo that seems like a long walk for little kids , but they do have a tram that runs to those areas. Food prices not bad.
