As stated in my previous review, the Lichterman grounds are beautiful and are a great background to a all kinds of wedding events. This truly reminds me of a mini park, but not as large. This multi-family home features 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

My friends attempted to get married in front of the pond there, and if it hadn't started pouring they would have succeeded. GREAT GREAT GREAT , school upcoming school had its trials but its better than ever, The teachers and principal coach stone picks with the kids coach stone even threat my son he puts his hands on them its not a good school he been suspended at least 7 times it sad. I enjoyed feeding the fish and walking on the trails (easy for small ones and the elderly - it is scenic but not "hiking").My mother is a Master Gardener and loves their plant sales and seed swaps. The Lichterman Nature Center is one of the facilities within the Pink Palace Family of Museums. My step-daughter just had her wedding here. You would think that it would be difficult to hide a 65-acre arboretum in the middle of a busy urban area. There are cute wooden benches scattered throughout for short rests, many of them nestled in an opening and surrounded by, Yelp users haven’t asked any questions yet about. We really enjoy taking our Grandkids to the Nature Center. But it was a lovely spot, looked like a painting...hmmm. Lichterman has a variety of spaces to work for an even- they have an outdoor amphitheater, covered pavillion, an overlook balcony, and numerous other rooms that can accommodate a large or small wedding party. Its paved trails are peaceful and shady. Im completly fed up with the laziness of the teachers and of course every misbehavior os a sign of adhd!! The table plans we drew up was laid out exactly as we had set it up. For those active families there are three miles of trails - all accessible - that loop and wind their way through nature, with lots of rest stops along the way so you can just take your time! So much nature to explore. When you're in the visitor's center, be sure to check out the huge display of various taxidermied Mid-South native critters.Lichterman Nature Center is part of the Pink Palace family of museums, so if you're a member at the Pink Palace, you can get into Lichterman for free. Guided tours are also available and are good if you go with a few other people and it is your first time to visit.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our web experience for everyone,  and we welcome feedback and accommodation requests. I love this place. So kids can learn all about the actual environment around them! We usually love this place. Blooming water lilies on our recent visit were definitely  a highlight.The only drawback I see is that you cannot access these trails unless you go through the visitor center. Been coming here since I was a child, and now I bring my children here. Lichterman Nature Center is a certified arboretum and nature center located in East Memphis, Tennessee.
The grounds are BEAUTIFUL and the prices are very reasonable for such nice spaces. The center is located off Ridgeway at 5992 Quince Road in East Memphis. Patti was very helpful when we were first booking the venue, but then was less communicative when we got closer and asked for very quick turnarounds on paperwork.

But we ended up hightailing it up to the covered area. An additional federal permit is required to rehabilitate birds. As a result, the Nature Center cannot accept any live or injured animals. Pretty impressive!

Because let's face it, it is incredibly rare for me to be entertained during "children" activities or places. You can stay for an hour or for a few hours depending on what you do while you are there.
